Our swell friction rock bolt products are recommended for rock support in mining, & tunneling civil engineering applications, where a wide range of rock reinforcement capacities are needed. Shell expansion anchor bolts (double ended bolts) are generally used with expansion shells, and post grouted with cementitious grouts. The thread strength is nominally equal to the strength of the bar. Double ended bolts are often used as tie rods with rib supports (arches), and supplied with two plain nuts. Standard bolt lengths range from 600 mm to 2400 mm in increments of 300 mm. SupAnchor stainless steel hollow injection anchors are drill rods designed to be left in the hole and used as anchors. Once drilled to depth, the hole is filled by pumping grout through the flushing hole in the drill string. There are numerous benefits in using this type of anchor system especially in soft, broken ground where the hole will not remain open without some form of support.
