Extender lights are available for use with line voltage halogen lamps, ceramic metal halide PAR lamps (120 volt to 277 volt) and for 12 volt low voltage halogen lamps. The low voltage versions have a built-in electronic transformer that easily convert the 120 volt medium base socket in an existing recessed fixture into an adjustable low voltage light source using 12 volt MR-16 up to 50 watts or 12 volt AR-111 and PAR-36 halogen reflector lamps up to 75 watts. Track lighting systems are suitable for use in stores, museums, art galleries, showrooms and residences.
