Our PM-700AG & PM-700AGN are stand-alone pedestrian radiation portal monitors. It features radiation detectors, controller, and occupancy detector. The system operates from an internal battery. The battery is constantly charged from the site's ac line during normal operation. In the event of a power outage, the battery permits continued operation for at least 12 hours. They are equipped with RS-232 and ethernet communications capability. A relay output is available for connection to AM-270 alarm monitor or other site security system. Our RAVEN (Radiation Alarm and Video Event Notification) monitoring system connects through wired or wireless ethernet. Our amplifier/single channel analyzer model SCA-775 is a self-contained amplifier/SCA module designed for use in our portal monitors. The SCA-775 is designed to be used in conjunction with an SC-770. It supplies high voltage to the detectors, amplifies the nuclear pulses from the photomultiplier tubes and provides lower and upper level discrimination.
