Profile: Tamil Nadu Magnesite Ltd. offers magnesite mineral ore. Our magnesite mineral ore is an essential raw material for manufacturing refractory materials used by steel industry. Our raw magnesite is naturally occurring carbonate of magnesium and found in two different physical forms, such as crystalline and cryptocrystalline. Our lightly calcined magnesite is produced by sintering raw magnesite shaft kiln at a controlled temperature 1100 degree centigrade by using furnace oil. Our dead burnt magnesite is produced in rotary kiln by sintering raw magnesite at a controlled temperature of 1750 degree centigrade and its chemically inactive. Our parent rock of magnesite contains 49% of MgO and 39% of SiO2 and magnesite is derived from the dunite.
