Our rotameters are available in various types including glass tube, magnetic, acrylic, purge and by-pass types. Acrylic rotameter is basically a variable area flow meter. The differential pressure across the annulus area is constant, and the flow rate is measured as a function of the position of annulus area. This area is displayed as the position of the float in terms of flow rate on the scale. Metal tube rotameter with transmitter is specially designed for process industries to measure the flow rate & total quantity of liquid & gases under critical conditions. It finds application particularly for fluids with high temperature & pressure, and can also be used for opaque fluids. The electromagnetic flow meter virtually approaches the ideal flow meter suitable for a wide range of liquid flow measurements even with very low conductivities. The meter offers no resistance to flow, hence the pressure drop is almost negligible. The measurement being based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, is independent of viscosity, density, pressure & temperature of the flowing medium. The measurement is not affected by solid impurities as long as the minimum conductivity of 5 s/cm is available. It is a true volumetric flow measurement. We offer various materials of construction for meter lining & electrodes to cover majority of corrosive liquids.
