Description: Tapping Unit Model GEM12 introduced by our company is a differentials drive system with master lead screw system. The complete system consists of the lead screw and a nut as similar to a conventional lead system. The lead screw is coupled to the spindle, which gives the linear motion as well as the rotational motion for the spindle. The nut on the lead screw is also rotating through the drive coming from the set of gears, which finally define the pitch of the threads to be cut. The speed of the spindle is varied by means of frequency converter and electronics, which is the company patent. The potentiometer determines the linear distance traveled and the feedback is also taken out of it. The system can be easily installed and replacement could be done very fast. The quality and productivity is high.
