Description: Tungsten Carbide Tipped (TCT) Circular Saw Blades are used for ripping hard and soft wood for manufacturing scaffolding planks, cross cutting and mitering of general wood, plywood, veneer, blockboards, and laminated boards. These are also used for cutting non-ferrous material like aluminium, copper, zinc, manganese, lead, and brass. The steel cores of the TCT saws are made from high quality steel, precisely heat treated, flat ground, scientifically straightened and tensioned. These blades have special teeth and tip design and are only 2 mm thick. TCT saws are available in diameters up to 2000 mm in the required thickness and required number of teeth. The tip geometry is also varied so that in 3 adjacent teeth, each TC tip has a different shape specifically designed for a function including a chip breaker tip which cuts the long chip formed during cutting operation to avoid damage to work piece. This ensures a clean cut, without vibrations and with minimum sound. TCT saws for ferrous metals are widely used for cutting iron and steel, stainless steels, super alloys, tool steel and other steels. Both types of TCT saws, for cutting ferrous and non-ferrous metals have high-performance steel cores designed to absorb the severe cutting stresses. Special low noise sandwiched, laser cut steel cores with sound dampner and vibration-free designs are also used for quality conscious customers.
