Our product line includes road scan metal, model 9100 - large aperture-whole log, model 6000-long object & roof bolt and model 50-rugged & reliable detectors. Our model 5500 E1 metal detector is engineered to be the sensitive detector for installation on conveyor belts carrying coal, minerals, aggregates and other bulk materials. The model 5500 E1 can be tuned to ignore conductive ores such as gold, copper or zinc while still detecting small pieces of tramp metal. The model 5500 E1 is available in nearly any belt width, and is customized to fit conveyor. The modular design makes the model 5500 E1 is installed without the use of special tools or the need to cut the belt, while the field replaceable electronics are operated and maintained. Our road scan metal detector was designed to allow contractors to scan for metallic objects buried beneath asphalt to help protect cold planers, and more accurately bid road re-paving projects. The road scan is able to scan across a full lane width, and detect large metallic objects (manhole covers, water main covers, rail & trolley tracks) to up to 12" deep.
