Our multi-channel NDT inspection system is based on the remote field electromagnetic technique (RFET) to quickly and accurately inspect ferrous metal tubing from the tube I.D. This system normally has 8 channels for detecting baffle cutting, cracking, fret wear/vibration, pitting, erosion, corrosion, overheating soot blower and flue gas thinning. Its applications are boiler generating banks tubes, air heaters, air heaters, heat exchangers, air coolers finfan units, short run piping & any tubular based equipment. The system does not require couplant or permanent magnets, which allows for 100 per cent inspection of the tube circumference with minimal tube preparation.
