Our products include Protectowire™ linear heat detectors, Protectowire Firesystems™ control panels, fibersystem 4000 fiber optic linear heat detection system, Airsense® and Stratos®, aspirating smoke detectors, initiating devices, notification appliances, batteries & battery cabinets, junction boxes & end of line boxes. Our Protectowire™ linear heat detectors main component is a proprietary cable that detects heat conditions anywhere along its length. Detector was available in a range of alarm temperatures and jacket models to suite a vast array of fire detection applications. The sensor cable is comprised of two steel conductors individually insulated with a heat sensitive polymer. The insulated conductors are twisted together to impose a spring pressure between them, then wrapped with a protective tape and finished with an outer jacket suitable for the environment in which the detector will be installed.
