Profile: The Redditch Electro Plating Co., Ltd. specializes in electro-plating & phosphating of wire & flatmetal springs. We provide heavy crystalline zinc phosphate plating on ferrous metals. This process is an ideal coating prior to rust preventative treatments (i.e. specialist Oils), and paint schemes such as powder coating. The phosphate is primarily gray in color with a coating weight up to 30g/sqM; we can then (if required) coat the phosphate with a thin solvent based black stain to give a semi matt black finish, then with a coat of DWX31 Oil a corrosion resistance of approximately 96 hrs salt spray is achieved.
