Profile: Thetford International specializes in waste and refurbished compactors. Our range of cart lifters, de-watering units and accessories enables all our models to be adapted to customers' specific systems, carts, and/or types of waste. Our side or rear loader attachment enables small carts or containers to be picked up from ground level or a loading dock, and inverted to discharge their contents into a compactor hopper. The loader includes a hopper and anti-scatter mesh. The lifting frame can vary in design according to the type, shape, and size of the carts needed to be handled. Most types of open or flat lidded carts including plastic Euro carts from 240 to 1100 litres capacity, can be accommodated. The hydraulic lifting arms are powered by the hydraulic system in the compactor, giving the rear loader a lifting capacity of 500 kg, and is controlled by means of an operating lever or electric controls situated at the side of the compactor. Safety screens and electric interlocked gates are provided for the protection of personnel. We are an ISO 9001 certified company.
