Three-phase Servostats (balance Load)

Company: South Eastern Equipment Company

Description: Three-phase servostat AC stabilisers help to run on the rated voltage and obtain peak performance ensuring reliability of the unit. AC stabilizers are used for obtaining a steady AC voltage supply from fluctuating mains within a close tolerance and are mainly servo-controlled type with electro-mechanical arrangements. They are very sturdy in construction and give the satisfactory performance under all conditions. Three-phase servostats (balance load) consist of a three-phase Power-O-Stat (variable auto transformer) unit, tandem mounted with one pilot motor attached and only one electronic sensing device used. This is suitable when the loads in all the three phases are the same. The input range is 300 to 440 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz and output 400 V. The output can also be changed from 380 to 450 V. From 3 kVA to 25 kVA all these units are manufactured in air cooled construction, and from 30 kVA to 600 kVA in oil cooled construction with one to two different cubicles. These are used to control computer centres, airports, TV receiving centres, radar divisions, centralised air conditioning packaged units, heavy industries, metrological depts, research institutions and laboratories where a very constant output voltage is needed.
