Thrust Bearings For Submersible Pumps

Description: Sri Vignesh Engineering markets thrust bearings for submersible pumps and mechanical water seals for pumps. The thrust bearings uses stainless steel 410 grade material segments made in investment casting. The segments are ground and lapped to mirror finish. The hardness of the segment is 48-52 HRC. The segments are supported on accurately machined cast iron base. The thrust bearing is equipped with carbon pads that are resin-impregnated carbon, with 78-80 HRC hardness and that can withstand up to 150°C. The carbon pads are duly ground lapped to mirror polish and is normally fixed to cast-iron rings. In some bearings, carbon pads are fixed to stainless steel 410 material rings.
