Description: TMAC Opta is used for transducerised air tools, automatic shut-off or electrically shut-off tools. The control may be based on torque only, torque and angle, duration or impulse count. TMAC allows one tool to be used for different joint specifications or parameter sets, without manual adjustment to the tool. Each joint is tested against preset joint parameters and the result is shown on the easy-read display with simultaneous display of all relevant information. The torque and cycle time, or angle is displayed as the joint is tightened. An exact set-up enables TMAC to detect oversized bolts, stripped threads and degradation of tool performance. It is also possible to set-up TMAC Opta to ignore the initial high torques encountered when using self-tapping screws.
