Torque multipliers are precision gear units designed for multiplication of input torque to achieve a high torque output. As such, these are recommended for use where very high torque (over 100 kg.m) is required to minimize input effort. Their use reduces the manpower required as well as the operator fatigue. Tristar torque multipliers are available in multiplication factors of 5:1 and 25:1. A set of torque multipliers covers torque requirements from 100 kg.m to 925 kg.m. These wrenches are recommended for use at the input end to achieve an exactly calculated output torque. Applications suggested are either tightening of high tensile bolts of loosening rusty and frozen nut bolts. The Tristar range also includes impact sockets, torque wrenches, slugging wrenches, tool kits, pneumatic screw driver bits and spring balancers for suspending tools.
