Torsional Analysis is performed on an automotive engine, which is attached to an engine dynamometer. Torsional analysis program uses a multi-section, lumped-inertia, torsional rotor model to compute undamped torsional eigenvalues, normalized eigenvectors and transient torsional damped response of a multiply geared rotor shaft.
