Our piston inserters make inserting pistons into cartridges and syringe barrels quick & easy. Manually inserting pistons into cartridges requires excessive force and air is often trapped under the pistons. Manually inserting pistons also leads to inconsistent piston insertion depth and alignment which is not only unpleasant from a cosmetic standpoint, but also leads to inexact ratios when the product is dispensed. In the piston inserting machine, the operator simply loads the pre-filled syringe into the nest provided and places the pistons in the piston guide. The piston guide accurately aligns the cartridges or syringes with their pistons. The foot switch is then depressed and held until the insertion sequence is completed. Total cycle time is typically 2-3 seconds.
