Profile: Tron-Tek, Inc. is a manufacturer of microwave links and RF products. Our products include video transmitters, video receivers, tower cameras, multiple remote system controller software, link budget program, and telemetry data radios. Our video transmitter was designed to transmit NTSC video via radio frequency (RF). It has the ability to transmit video, audio and data simultaneously. The video signal is transmitted on the main carrier, while the audio and data are transmitted on 1 or 2 sub carriers. The video signal passes through a CCIR405 525 line standard pre-emphasis circuit. A variable attenuator is used to help control the modulation level of the video signal that can vary over the frequency range of the transmitter. The audio signal passes through an automatic level control (ALC) circuit. This circuit limits the audio level from exceeding a factory specified deviation and causing audio distortion.
