Description: Protocom 2 Twin AC Controller is an energy saving controller for single-phase AC units. It is useful for two AC installations in small offices/businesses, ATM centre, residential houses, where AC units of 1 or 1.5 tonnes are installed. Only one AC is operated at a time and equal running of each AC is ensured during continuous operation. A fixed cyclic timing of 4 hours or 6 hours each is factory set. The battery backup of 2 hours is provided with power ON delay (2 minutes) during each restart. It is supported with a built-in protection against UV, OV & OL for both AC units. The controller has built-in MCB for short circuit protection. It operates on a temperature of -5°C -60°C and humidity of up to 955 Rh. The technical specification includes the following: system supply of 240 V AC, ±20%, 1 Ph, frequency of 50 (60) Hz, ±3%. It is supported with LED indication which depicts power on green; timer on red (flashing); AC 1 on green; AC 2 on green; UV Trip red; OV Trip red; OC Trip red; OT Trip red. The enclosure is sheet metal fabricated and powder coated. The general dimension in terms of length, width and depth is 226 x 122 x 70 mm and it weighs 1.5 Kg.
