Twin Turret CNC Turning Lathe is used in applications such as crankshafts, camshafts and long work pieces. The construction features include high slant angle bed for easy chip flow, hardened & ground integral guideways for ultra high rigidity, three box design with heavy ribbing for high rigidity by design, metallurgy provides long term stability with good dampening characteristics and two carriages carrying two turrets. It is independently mounted on two ball screws, ball screws directly driven by servo motors with backlash free couplings, absolute encoders on servo motors reduce start up and referencing times and hardened & ground X-axis saddle guide ways. An automation options include ball screw driven programmable positioning steady rest, programmable tailstock positioning, auto door operation with safety interlocks, gantry interface for line automation, revolving tools on turret and C-axis spindle positioning. It also features twin turret 4-axis slant bed design, slant angle selected for optimum chip disposal, capable of high material removal rates, hardened & ground integral guideways, direct drives on all axis for high stiffness and quick response.
