Ultra-compact Servo Drive
Ultra-Compact Servo Drive drastically reduces cabling and setup time, while saving up to 30% of cabinet space. The series is the first in the world that does not contain tunings and programs. Omron's Junma series is much more compact than competitive offerings in the market, as it has pocket-sized servo drives with the smallest footprint. Space-saving features are always welcomed by machine builders and Junma servo drives occupy surprisingly little cabinet space. Moreover, the built-in Mechatronik motion bus reduces cabling and simplifies wiring because only a single cable is required to connect the servos together. This saves installation time and reduces cabling while reducing the chance of connection errors. The Mechatronik motion bus also enables remote servo configuration and diagnosis. Another significant benefit and the key aspect of the Junma series that represents a revolution in servo technology, is its tuningless or dynamic self-tuning feature. This eliminates the laborious manual tuning process through two major components: Feed-back Correction, which provides constant time responses, and Auto Notch, which changes the notch filter parameters to suppress the mechanical resonance automatically. This enables Junma servo drives to instantaneously control any resonance and eliminates the need to adjust the control parameters of the drive. Combining the Junma series with Omron's NCF positioning unit offers 16-axes positioning with linear interpolation, plus interrupt feeding.
