Our expanded graphite packing is braided from low sulphur expanded graphite yarns that are reinforced by cotton fiber. It shows good thermal conductivity, chemical resistance, and high elasticity. Our spiral wound gasket consists of a thin metal hoop and a non-metal filler material that are simultaneously wound. The metal hoop is pre-formed in a V/W shaped profile that allows the gasket to act as a spring between the flanges. The hoop also acts as a basic structural element for the gasket while the non-metal filler material seals the flange surfaces that have small imperfections. It is suitable for sealing spots where the alteration of temperature and pressure are frequent. It is widely applied in the fields of petrochemical, mechanical manufactory, power station, metallurgy, ship building, pharmaceutical, nuclear power station, and navigation.
