Our product line includes advanced filter bank™ analog-to-digital converter, Linearity Error Compensator™ and Tracking Binauralizer™. Our advanced filter bank (AFB) analog & digital converter architecture uses a parallel array of state-of-the-art analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), or digital-to-analog converters (DACs), to increase the speed of the conversion by up to six to eight times while maintaining very high resolution. It is capable of D/A conversion with 14-bit resolution and 1-2 GHz sample rate, and direct digital upconversion up to 1 GHz. The advanced filter bank signal processing significantly reduces the sensitivity to analog mismatches (e.g., gain mismatch, phase distortion, clock skew), which prohibit existing parallel architectures (such as time-interleaving or "Ping-Pong" methods) from achieving high-resolution. The high-resolution Linearity Error Compensator™ (LinComp) is a computationally-efficient digital signal processing method for dramatically reducing harmonic and intermodulation distortion up to 24 dB. The technology is used to predict nonlinear distortion and subtract out the errors. This technology improves the dynamic range by up to four bits, enabling very accurate conversion and synthesis of data at high intermediate frequencies (IF) with high sample rates (e.g., analog-to-digital conversion with > 12-bit dynamic range > 600 MHz IF). This unique technology is only available from V-Corp (U.S. Patent 6,198,416 and numerous patents pending).
