Vacuum/pressure Pumps For Automatic Printing Machines
Vacuum/pressure pumps from Acmevac are oil lubricated pumps. They have rotary sliding vanes directly coupled to a three phase 1440-RPM AC electric motor. The vanes and the motor are mounted on a sturdy base plate. These pumps are designed in such a way to give vacuum & pressure at the same time, thereby eliminating the need for two separate units. Special features of the pump include: specially treated steel vanes that ensure silent running & negligible wear on stator, end covers & rotor slots, thus increasing the life of the pump. The incoming air passes through a fine filter encased in a suction box before entering the pump. The regulation of vacuum and pressure can be precisely done to suit any requirement; a unique design of lubrication system positively feeds minimum quantity of oil to all important points. The oil from the exhaust is baffled, collected and returned to the oil chamber. The exhausted air is further passed through a pipe coil, which covers a coupling mounted fan, thereby cooling it to a normal temperature, and finally is passed through a filter to remove the remaining traces of oil. The complete unit with motor is the most compact vacuum for a vibration-free running, enabling it to be suitable for mounting inside any equipment.
