Valves, Ball Type
Description: Ball Type Valve in 2-piece, 3-piece, and full bore design are widely used in chemical and general purpose applications. The special application valve has floating ball design kith Teflon seats for common seating. The sizes range from ¼ inches to 2 inches in screwed connection and ½ inches to 12 inches in flanged connection to a maximum pressure of 250 kg/cm2. The valve is made using CI, CS, SS, brass, GM, alloy-20, and hastelloys B and C materials. For high temperature applications, viton rings or carbon rings are used. The valve is also provided with heating/cooling jackets to suit process application. The valves are rubber/lead lined, Teflon lined or coated with corrosion-resistant materials such as PVC, polypropylene, and HDPE for corrosive application.
