Profile: Vantec manufactures remote radio control systems for mobile battery powered robots & motor controllers, servos and servo amplifiers with an radio/control or computer interface. RDFR speed controls are used in bomb disposal and combat bots to perform the speed, direction and steering functions all in a controller box, for both the right side and left side powertrains. These vehicles are powered by separate electric motors for the right and left drive. Each RDFR unit has two forward / reverse speed controls coupled together. When used with a spring centered joy stick, hands off is stop, UP stick is straight ahead, and down yields backwards.
