Versatile Stuffing Box Packing is made of single molecular PTFE graphite yarns pretreated with proprietary break in lubricant imported from the world class fiber. This high performance gland packing can be used for a wide variety of sealing application throughout industry. Astegra-333 gland packing is chemically inert, with few exceptions, over the entire 0-14 pH range. It has excellent ability to dissipate frictional heat & offer cool running, even after extended period of continuous operations at shaft speed up to 20 m/s, and would not harden. The leakage is controlled, and shaft sleeves are protected against heat damage. Astegra-333 is capable to tolerate temperatures up to 288°C & pressure up to 3625 PSI, and offers problem free installation & removal from the stuffing box. The unique combination of PTFE graphite with lubricant makes Astegra 333 an ideal packing for use in pumps like centrifugal, rotary, turbine & reciprocating type & valves, mixers, agitators, refiners, handling all acids, alkalis, organic & inorganic solvents, corrosive chemicals, gases and hot water condensate.
