Profile: Viking Marine Construction LLC specializes in dredging, dock installation, and earth retention services. Marine fabrication is a service in which we build custom workboats and barges. We weld and fabricate metal into the things needed to do dredging and some of our other marine construction services. Our crane and barges are built for the task at hand. Hydrographic surveying is used in Dredging and offshore oil well and exploration. It studies the bottom of the body of water and comes back with a detailed image of the highs and lows that are down there. It can be used to locate submerged objects that are laying on the bottom of the body of water, being covered by water. Hydrographic surveying is used for mapping streams, rivers, and lakes as well as ponds.
