Profile: VisiPak Clamshells is a manufacturer of clamshell packaging, blister packs and plastic trays. We manufacture thermoformed blisters for retail and industrial applications. Blister packs provide security while still displaying the contents for retail applications. Manufacturers, such as the pharmaceutical industry, may use non-clear material to secure the contents and prevent contamination. Trays are used in many industries and are available in colors or without color. Many consumer goods utilize trays inside the package to hold food items or small parts. Automotive manufacturers utilize thermoformed trays along the assembly lines to house and protect sensitive parts during productions. Inexpensive plastic trays are easily collected for re-use or recycling, without concern of expensive replacement costs. We offer various sizes of stock clamshells. Clamshells are available in material thicknesses ranging from .007 inches to .047 inches. Thermoformed trays can be as simple as an opened, flat-bottom tray, or designed and formed to specific shapes for containing individual items. For an industrial application, components are stored in plastic packaging trays and transported through an assembly line. For a consumer application, a header card slides into the tray, positioning the product inside the package, thus protecting it & also rendering it visible.
