Description: A colour vision sensor for specific colours has been introduced. It is east to use, available in two configurations, accommodates a wide range of manufacturing, processing and packaging applications. Purchasers can choose either the one-piece PresencePlus P4 Omni Color or the PresencePlus ProColor with compact camera and separate DIN-mountable controller. An IP-68 rated camera is available with the ProColor configuration for use in harsh environments. The sensor inspects unlimited colour variations in its field of view to determine the presence or absence of the specific colour that was taught with its integrated Colour Match tool. Capabilities include determining presence or absence of features, verifying complete assembly, counting features and matching colours. Like all Banner vision sensors, the colour models use proprietary intuitive software that allows quick initial setup. Operation and reconfiguration are accomplished easily without connecting to a PC. The graphical user interface may be specified in any of these nine languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese. With a 720 x 480 CMOS imager, the sensor inspects up to 900 parts per minute. Direct connectivity to Ethernet/IP and Modbus/I CP industry standard network protocols is included. ActiveX utilities are provided for export of inspections, images and results. All the gray-scale tools from previous PresencePLUS models are included: Locate, Geometric Find/Count, Pattern Find/Count, Edge, Object, Blob, Average Grayscale, and Measure.
