Description: Volatile Organic Compound (Voc) Detection is used to detect the amount of volatile organic compound in the atmosphere. This detection system is used in oil, gas, petrochemicals, pharma, steel, and textile sectors. The detectors are available in three versions. The portable detectors (for personnel safety) are capable of gathering part-per-billion readings with a device of the size of a cellular pager. It has the ability to gather five gases at an instance - can detect flammable, toxic, oxygen and VOC gases at an instance. The wireless integration (for plant monitoring - solar powered without cabling) VOC equipment collects data and transmits it from a remote location to a centralized location for analysis. This can be done not only for a single detector but also for number of detectors at a time and from a distance of around 2 miles. The fixed detectors (for plant monitoring - electrically powered with cabling) is a permanently mounted photo ionization detector that provides an output of 4-20 mA in three full scale ranges of 20, 100 and 1000 ppm, housed in an explosion proof enclosure and equipped with a local digital display of the gas concentration and functional keys for performing calibration. All VOCs can be measured from ppm to ppb levels.
