Profile: Ward Technologies, Inc. is a custom manufacturer of modular workstations and equipment racks used in technical applications. Our product line includes automatic bottle washing stations, chemical storage cabinets, quick dump rinsing modules, stainless steel chassis, cabinets, ETCHTEK® microprocessor based process controllers frames, ETCHTEK® Quartz constant temperature baths, tables and equipment. Our EQ/PQ series constant temperature controlled baths are designed to be contaminant-free, rapid heating units suitable for water processing in wet etch, high temperature acid and solvent applications (except hydrofluoric acid). All EQ/PQ series baths are manufactured using high purity fused quartz which provides superior high temperature corrosion resistance greatly reducing the incidence of wafer contamination. The EQ/PQ series standard baths are of molded construction which provides maximum strength and eliminates sharp corners thus facilitating ease of cleaning; each vessel includes a bottom well to accommodate a stirrer or a drain. Our Etchtek® model 960 series are microprocessor based controller/timers. They monitor temperature utilizing a Type J thermocouple sensor and control bath temperatures with a standard three mod (PID) control scheme, with anti-reset windup. Numerous status and alarm functions are incorporated to monitor various system parameters. Additionally, a down-count/ up-count programmable timer, with cumulative over timer and pre-warm is integrated into the systems. A pilot duty photoisolated triac output is used to drive a remote heater power relay in the 24 VAC version and an onboard 15 amp power pack is provided on the 208 VAC model.
