Profile: Waterblasting Technologies, Inc. manufactures Stripe Hog® waterblasting system and Smart Vac® vacuum systems. The Stripe Hog® waterblasting system quickly and completely removes all types of durable traffic markings from asphalt & concrete surfaces with little to no damage to the surface. It does its work using many needle sharp 40,000 psi water jets and a powerful vacuum recovery system called the Smart Vac® that leaves the road clean & almost dry. The resulting debris is quickly de-watered using a patented process so that the debris can then be dumped in a dried state in one big clump that easily falls from the tank. Our SH4000 blasting machine operates at 6 gpm and is ideally suitable for the removal of turn arrows, stop bars, crosswalk lines & gore markings. The blasting head for the SH4000 is the single, 6"-14", tractor mounted blasting unit. This zero-turn, hydrostatic drive tractor also operates with remarkable efficiency in parking lots and multi-level parking garages. The tractor unit can just as easily be used for the removal of long lines, skip lines, and aircraft rubber deposits on airport runways. With the required amount of UHP water and vacuum hose, the tractor unit can operate up to 400' away from the truck making it the ideal tool for the cleaning & stripping of the floors in airport hangers, factories & warehouses. It can also be used for many other commercial, surface preparation applications such as curing compound removal on new concrete. The overall advantage of the tractor mounted blasting head is that it works easily in confined spaces, where a truck mounted blasting head cannot operate. The SH3000 is the latest, smallest, and most portable of the Stripe Hog models. It is the only Stripe Hog system that does not include a chassis. It is a complete, 40,000 psi, 6 gpm, Strip Hog waterblasting system. It is unique in that the entire unit is built on a 20', skid-like platform.
