These dies are created with single crystal diamonds, that produce drawn wire with superior surface conditions and maintain very tight diameter tolerances. Polycrystalline diamond dies have highly predictable die wear, thermal stability with resistance to fracturing. This diamond is made by forming a mass of diamond crystals, then applying a combination of heat & pressure.
