Worm Gearboxes

Description: Worm Gearboxes are available with centre distance ranges from 28 mm to 250 mm and ratios from 10:1 to 4900:1. The gearbox housings are made of fine grain cast iron to permit heavy duty. Worm shafts are made of fine grain cast iron to permit heavy duty. Worm shafts are made of case hardened alloy steel, thread milled, hardened and ground. Worm wheels are made of centrifugally cast phosphor-bronze rims, shrink fitted, brazed with CI centers and keyed to the out put shaft. Input and output shafts are mounted on tapered roller bearings. It is equipped with imported machineries for specialized operations like gear hobbing, thread milling and worm grinding. The company also manufactures helical gearboxes, geared motors, planetary gearboxes, precision worm and worm wheel pairs and ground gears as per customer requirement.
