Profile: Zentech International Ltd. is a provider of consultancy services and software solutions to engineering sectors. We specialize in applying advanced engineering techniques to many engineering problems. These include the analysis & design of offshore structures, detailed modeling & simulation of 3D non-planar crack growth, and carrying out forensic engineering studies to determine the cause of structural failure. Our work includes derivation of an analytical methodology to predict aircraft engine component fatigue lives as an alternative to mechanical fatigue testing. We carry out forensic analysis to examine the effect of roll and mis-alignment of the roller bearing on fatigue crack growth development. Our Zencrack software tool is applied for 3D fracture mechanics simulation. Zencrack utilizes the finite element method via interfaces to Abaqus and Ansys, to allow calculation of fracture mechanics parameters such as energy release rate, and stress intensity factors.
