Flow restrictors can ideally replace orifices, capillaries and micro metering valves which can easily become plugged by even one piece of dirt. Our Sika® ultra precision flow restrictors minimize this plugging possibility. These can be sintered directly into standard compression/threaded fittings. This offers an optimum fit between flow restrictor and fitting, providing a maximum flow area. Our Sika-Fil filter elements are made from a sintered combination of stainless steel metallic fibers and a corresponding supporting mesh. These are manufactured as flexible strips in 0.7-1.2mm thickness, and are then worked up as tubes/cartridges. These filter elements have a high dirt retention capacity. Sika-B elements are produced from sintered spherical bronze powder by the gravity sintering technique. These materials are used as self-supporting constructional elements.
