Description: Aluminium re-drawn tubes with close tolerance are used in refrigerator, air conditioner and radiator as it is lightweight, cost effective and provide compatible heat transfer. These are supplied as coil-to-coil drawn aluminium tubes as per customer's requirement. Aluminium tubes are available ranging from 1 mm OD to 170 mm OD and thickness tolerance confirming to IS standards and custom requirement. Aluminium redrawn tubes have an edge over extruded tubes including good surface finish both ID and OD of 0.5 micron (RA value) giving a nice appearance and with the option of anodised or powder coated extra finish, uniform dimensions resulting in saving 25% weight in given length in redrawn process, improved strength due to granules getting finer during redrawing, processed exact dimensions eliminating wastage to the extent of 15 to 20% in case of extrusion and straight end products (1:1500) with no twisting and nearly square for ready use ensuring productivity. The advantages of aluminium over copper are lighter finish, compactness, reduced maintenance and increased hardness.
