Description: Axial valves are innovative improvisation over conventional ball valve assembled with rotary actuator on them. The main flow is from centre axis and valve actuation is by operation of hollow piston. Axial valves are of SS construction making it compatible with a wide range of media. The design is compact and steamlined occupying minimum space, the ports being in line. Viton seals are provided as standard to withstand high temperature up to 180°C and are compatible to air, water, oil, and hydrocarbons. Pneumatic actuation can be achieved by directly connecting compressed air to 1/8″ BSP port or by using 3/2, 5/2 or 5/ 3 Namur valve. Standard valve supplied is in normally closed version. By shifting the spring from the back to front, it is easily converted to normally open type and by removing the spring it becomes a double acting valve. These valves are available in 1″, 1-1/ 2″ and 2″ port size having flow rates of 16, 53 and 75 Cv respectively.
