The hardness achieved overcomes the problems associated with sliding friction. Use of a patented carbide worm screw in preference of the industry standard phosphor bronze/aluminium bronze worm wheel & steel worm screw ensures a longer life of nikken products. All Nikken CNC rotary tables have the option of being controlled by the CNC machine controller (with appropriate compatible drives fitted). An alternative is to control the Nikken CNC rotary table indirectly using M codes via the Nikken alpha controller.
