The QuaNix 4500 measures on all metals by just switching the mode from ferrous to non-ferrous or reverse. It has some of the world's best features making it an user friendly gauge. The QuaNix 4500dry film thickness gauge measures all nonmagnetic coatings such as lacquer, chromium, copper and zinc on steel or iron. It additionally measures all insulation coatings such as laquer, plastic and enamel on non-magnetic, metallic substrates, e.g., on aluminium, copper, brass or nonmagnetic steel. The gauge conforms to DIN 50981, 50984 and ASTM B499, D1400 and ISO 2178, 2360, 2808. It features one button operation only, proven hall sensor technology, integrated sensors without cable and connectors, automatic switch On/Off for maximum power utilisation display in micronss or mils and acoustical signal confirms measurement.
