Salt Spray Chamber (Fog/Corrosion Cabinet)
The Presto salt spray (fog) tester has been designed strictly as per the relevant standard to assess the ability of rust-proofed components, to withstand corrosion due to atmospheric conditions. The tester is double-walled, with SS 316 inside and stainless steel outside. Basic specifications: The work space has a rectangular interior size of 900 x 750 x 600 mm. It has a temperature range that is ambient to 60°C, temperature requirement of 35 + 2°C and temperature accuracy of ±1°C. The temperature is controlled by a solid state digital programmable temperature controller cum indicator with special zero corrosion PT 100 sensor. It is provided with a moisture cum oil filter and air regulator ranging from 0 to 30 PSI. A calibrated pressure gauge is provided for measuring inlet air pressure, and a state-of-the-art zero choke inert material atomizer is provided for reliable atomising. It has an electrical requirement that is approximately equal to single phase 220 V, 50 Hz, 3 kW.
