Solid color concrete stains impart an even, solid look to the floor and come in over 20 colors. Acid stains provide a transparent marble like look to concrete, the colors are more limited and go from shades of blue-green to dark brown earth tones. The other option includes concrete dyes, which provide transparent colors and accents in bright hues that help achieve results not possible through acid staining.

Concrete Stencil is made up of three components. It includes a paper stencil which gives the pattern effect and colour hardener which is a dry powder consisting of sands, cement, colour oxides and special additives. It also contains a sealer, which is applied to the finished job to protect the surface from stains and also to enhance the colour. They are used on existing concrete where a thin decorative coating will be applied. This is a process that utilizes a paper stencil to create a pattern in freshly placed concrete. It is usually available on rolls of approximately 1000 square feet and is available in a wide variety of patterns.
