Cooling Modules & Radiators

Company: GEI Hamon Industries Ltd.

Description: For cooling of hot water and lubricating oil for gas turbines and cooling of water used in LT and HT circuits of diesel or gas engines cooling modules and radiators are used. Composite coolers to handle water or oil cooling sharing common fans and drives are also frequently required. Lube oil coolers are generally also known as air blast oil coolers. The cooling modules comprise main components that include heat exchanger tube bundle; drive assembly (fans, motors, V belts or HTD belts); structurals, access platforms and ladders, control instruments and measuring gauges; pumping unit with motors, pumps, valves and piping; expansion tank; and electrical items such as interconnecting cables, junction box, local push button stations and relay-based or PLC- based MCC. Based on client's tailor-made or standard requirements, a variety of design options is offered aimed at effective utilisation of power and space: induced or forced draught; direct or indirectly driven fans; standby bay or standby fan operation; flat, V or A frame type constructions; low noise option; and sandwich type arrangement for engines having different LT and HT sections. Energy saving and performance control can be easily achieved by any one of the following options that include two-speed motors; multiple fan switching; variable frequency drives; and control louvres.
