Description: Digital universal microscope is tailor-made to suit a wide variety of industrial applications. The system incorporates the grabbing and analysis technology from Japan coupled to an industrial CCD camera giving a very high performance even in the most rigid environments. It eliminates the scope for all verniers, rotary stages or any manual measurement techniques thereby removing the fatigue involved. The system follows the principle of transmitted microscopy and profile projector where the profile of the job is transmitted to the camera, which captures the image and compares it with calibrations, which are incorporated in the analysis software. With 5 different magnifications, which are tailor-made, the measurement of job size from 5 mm to 5 micron is possible with an accuracy of ±0.01%. Digital measuring microscope is fitted with a large gliding stage on linear bearings to accommodate a job of very large size. The gliding stage can be manufactured according to customer specifications. The imaging system comprising of a Japanese CCD Camera and 2 software gives an output directly to the computer in MS Excel in the form of reports, thereby avoiding any manual human error. Also with the calibration of the instrument traceable to NPL standards there is no room for measurement errors. This system is ideal for pharma industries, filters, meshes, fabric, wire, metal, paper manufacturers, calibration and all R&D labs. The system can be easily converted to a biological or metallurgical microscope with a few modifications.
