Double Shut Off Coupler, DS Series
The DS series, double shut off coupler is a product from Micron Engineering Corporation. The coupler plug is first pushed into a socket. Then it is securely held by the self-locking arrangement resulting in positive and leak proof connection. This action simultaneously opens the valve and in the starting of the fluid flow. To disconnect, the sleeve of the socket has to be pulled back, which results in the ejection of the plug and in the automatic shutting of the valve. It has a wide range of applications including, on fluid line connections like air, gases, liquids and steam oil, used in chemical petroleum, pharmaceutical, automotive, refrigeration and other industrial uses. It is made of stainless steel & brass and has a size of 1/4 and 3/8. It has a working pressure of 40 kg/cm² and pressure resistance of 60 kg/ cm² . It is suitable for fluid like air, gases, automotive and refrigeration. The seal material is made of materials like viton, nitrite, HNBR and EPDM.
