Fluid Couplers
Description: Fluid Couplers are designed to be completely interchangeable with other styles of sockets and plugs. An entirely automatic socket allows the use of other different plug styles within the series and for use with compressed air. End connections are available up to ½" size. Easy, automatic push-to-connect designs provide instantaneous connection of air lines. Sleeve guard feature is an extra bonus in addition to higher flow rates. This double shut-off coupler works on simple push and pull principle. To connect the coupler, the plug is pushed into the socket and is securely held by the self locking arrangement. resulting in positive and leak proof connection. This action simultaneously opens the valve and the flow of fluid starts. To disconnect, the sleeve of the socket should be pulled back, which results in the ejection of the plug and the automatic shutting of the valve. Double shut-off couplers have applications on fluid line connections like air, gases, liquids, steam, oil as well as in chemicals, petroleum, pharmaceutical, automotive, refrigeration and other industrial uses.
