Description: Explosion proof gas monitor comes with CMRI certificate for gas groups IIA and IIB with CMRI certified gas detectors type FLP-I (CMRI Cert. No: CMRI/TC/H680 dtd. 20/06/ 95). Using LM-6 material the unit has a facility to hook-up five gas detectors (flameproof) at a maximum distance of 350 metres away. The gas detectors and enclosures are certified IS 2148-1981 and IS2147-962 (for IP-55) and can be safely installed in hazardous areas over a longer period. The controller has both analogue as well as digital readout facilities for the concentration of gases and three different pre-calibrated levels of audiovisual alarm. Calibration is done on imported calibration equipment and the test and reset switches provide output to the recorder and NO/NC contacts for annunciation panels. Microprocessor-based digital controller units are also available with 4-20 mA output and all other facilities for detection of gases like chlorine, SO2 oxygen, LPG, ammonia, alcohol vapours and various explosive and toxic poisonous gases. Normal operation is 110 V or 230V AC with battery backup facility.
