Heat Shrinkable Tube
Heat Shrinkable Tube offers excellent resistance to weathering, tracking and erosion. They are ideally suitable for outdoor terminations and are specially recommended for some of the worst conditions encountered along seacoasts, where the humidity is very high and the atmosphere is saline. Two types of tubes are available that includes regular tube, which can be used for all applications up to 36 kV and an economical and medium wall variety that is suitable for applications up to 11 W. The tubes are red in color and can be coated at the ends with red anti-tracking mastic, as per customer's choice. The test item & value includes continuous operating temperature between -30°C to +115°C, shrink temperature >125oC, shrink ratio up to 3:1, tensile strength >14 MPA, concentricity >70%, elongation >400%. They have the impact brittleness of 40, environment stress cracking of 0, specific resistivity of 1 x 1014 Ohms/cm VDE 303, dielectricity of 3.0 DIN 53483, non-tracking of kA 3C VDE 303, and dielectric strength of 200 kV/cm VDE 303.
